One location. The same walks.

All four houses are at Little Upton in Long Sutton, near Langport. Local walking distances are the same whichever house you book. Pick a route for your group’s pace and check the walking guide before setting off.

Keep your dog under control around livestock and check the current path conditions before you go. Not every pub or attraction welcomes dogs indoors, so it’s worth asking the venue first — and if some of the group heads out without the dog, plan for someone happy to stay behind with them.

The gardens are lovely to relax in, though we can’t promise they’re fully dog-secure — ask us about the fencing and outdoor space at the house you’re considering and we’ll help you plan.

Booking with people and pets.

Choose dates and count everyone staying — dogs don’t count as extra people or bed spaces. Tell us about your dogs and we’ll confirm permission and the pet fee before you complete checkout; the house finder above doesn’t confirm pet acceptance or live availability, but a quick message to us sorts it all.

Dog-friendly group stays: your questions.

Which large holiday houses welcome dogs?+

All four Little Upton houses welcome dogs by prior agreement: The Pictureworks sleeps 22; Upton Bourn Lodge sleeps 23; The Threshing Barn sleeps 18; Vedalworks sleeps 24. Each house is booked separately, and your dog is welcome to join you in any of them — just tell us they're coming.

Is there a fee or a limit on dogs?+

Yes — a pet fee applies, set out in our booking terms. Tell us how many dogs are coming before you book and we’ll confirm everything for you in one go.

Can dogs stay alone while we go out?+

We ask that dogs aren’t left alone in the house — even relaxed dogs can find a new home unsettling. Plan meals and outings so someone can stay with them.

Are the gardens enclosed?+

The gardens are lovely for a potter, but we can’t promise they’re fully dog-secure, so keep an eye on your dog outdoors. Ask us about the outdoor layout for your chosen house and we’ll talk it through with you.

Where can we walk from the houses?+

All four houses share the same Long Sutton location, so the local walking distances are the same whichever house you choose. Use our local walking guide and check route conditions, livestock and access before setting off — it makes for an easier outing for everyone, dogs included.
