Planning a group getaway with time by the pool? Little Upton has three separately booked houses with their own heated outdoor swimming pools, plus a fourth house with an allocated private daily session in the shared walled-garden pool. Every house also has its own private hot tub and sauna.
Swimming pools are seasonal. Opening periods and access arrangements vary by house.

All pools are heated and outdoors. A private session in the shared walled-garden pool means your house has it to itself for 2.5 hours a day — it is not a private swimming pool.

Private pools: The Pictureworks (Easter–October), Upton Bourn Lodge (Easter–October), Vedalworks (May–September). All three are heated outdoor pools.
Shared walled-garden pool: used by The Pictureworks, Upton Bourn Lodge, The Threshing Barn, open May–September. Each of those houses has a private 2.5-hour session every day.
Outside the season: hot tubs and saunas stay available. For a guaranteed swim, choose dates inside the season for your house and check the booking conditions.
Year-round hot tubs and saunas.
Every house has its own private hot tub and sauna, available all year, subject to normal operation and booking conditions. Hot tubs close at 10pm. The Pictureworks also has an indoor spa with a steam room and heated seats — the only house with a steam room — which makes it a good choice for autumn and winter stays.

- Group size: The Pictureworks sleeps 22, Upton Bourn Lodge sleeps 23, The Threshing Barn sleeps 18, Vedalworks sleeps 24.
- Individual beds: The Pictureworks up to 21, Upton Bourn Lodge up to 22, The Threshing Barn up to 15, Vedalworks up to 24.
- Indoor dining: The Pictureworks seats 22, Upton Bourn Lodge seats 23, The Threshing Barn seats 18, Vedalworks seats 24.
- Shared spaces: games rooms, terraces and gardens at every house; a cocktail bar and cinema room at Vedalworks.
- Pool access: a private pool, a shared pool session, or both.
- Time of year: Easter–October or May–September, depending on the house.

No. Guests at The Threshing Barn have a private 2.5-hour session each day in the shared walled-garden pool, May–September. Its hot tub and sauna are private to the barn.

Shared heated pool in the walled garden: open May–September, with a private 2.5-hour session for your house each day. The Pictureworks, Upton Bourn Lodge and The Threshing Barn use it; Vedalworks does not.
