Know which spaces are private

The accommodation is booked for your group, but facilities differ. Each house has its own hot tub and sauna. The Pictureworks, Upton Bourn Lodge and Vedalworks have dedicated seasonal pools; the walled-garden pool has shared access with reserved private sessions. Confirm arrangements for your chosen house and dates.

Meals together, without a packed timetable

A grazing supper on arrival, breakfast together and one planned dinner can be enough. Check the house’s indoor dining capacity and agree how food will be organised. Leave time for talking, games and a local walk rather than filling every hour.

Bookable extras

Our supplier directory includes private chefs, cocktail-making, treatments, life drawing and dance sessions. These are not included in the accommodation price. Ask about ages, space, minimum bookings and cancellation terms; agree visiting suppliers with Little Upton before confirming.

Travel and transport

Approximately 2.5 hours from London by car, depending on your starting point and traffic. Check your route for your travel dates.

The nearest railway stations are Yeovil Junction (about 25 minutes by car), Castle Cary (about 20 minutes) and Taunton (about 30 minutes).

Book station transfers and any return taxis before the weekend, especially for a large group.

A celebration that respects the setting

Quiet hours run from 10pm to 8am, and hot tubs close at 10pm. Unauthorised parties, outdoor music during quiet hours and unapproved visitors are not allowed. The lead guest must be 28 or older unless agreed in advance.
